Shipping policy

1. Shipping Partner

All orders are shipped via New Zealand Couriers, our trusted logistics partner. NZ Couriers provides nationwide coverage (99% of populated areas), ensuring your order is delivered safely and efficiently. Shipments are managed through GoSweetSpot, a cloud-based courier management platform that allows accurate labelling, tracking, and dispatch integration with our online store.

2. Shipping Rates

We apply a flat standard shipping charge of NZD $10.00 per order for deliveries within New Zealand’s main service areas.

Note: This rate covers standard parcels up to our usual weight and size limits.
If your delivery falls outside the standard coverage area (rural/non-urban, oversized, or remote locations), or incurs higher courier fees due to weight or dimensions, we will contact you before dispatch to discuss alternative options and any additional cost.

3. Processing & Delivery Time

Order Processing: Orders are typically processed Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays after payment confirmation.

Standard Delivery:

  • Urban/Business addresses: Delivery within 1–2 business days.
  • Residential addresses: Delivery within 1–3 business days.
  • Rural/Non-urban addresses: Delivery may take 2–4 business days, depending on courier coverage.

Saturday Delivery: Available in selected locations (additional charge may apply).

Delivery timelines are estimates provided by NZ Couriers and may vary due to weather conditions, courier workload, or public holidays.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification with tracking details.

5. Delivery Conditions

  • Please ensure that all shipping details are correct at checkout; incorrect addresses may cause delays or incur redelivery fees.
  • A signature may be required upon delivery unless you specify a “safe drop” location.
  • If you are not home, the courier may leave a calling card or deliver to your nominated safe location.

6. International Shipping

At present, international shipping is not offered directly via our online store. If you would like to arrange international delivery, please contact us at tanya@culturalconversations.co.nz to discuss options.

7. Returns & Return Shipping Fees

If you wish to return an item, please refer to our Return Policy.

Please note that the return shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error or a defective item.

We recommend using a trackable courier service for returns, as we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels in transit.
