Celebrate Local Voices. Support Community Connection.
The Community Advocates Matariki 2026 Calendar showcases 12 inspiring advocates from across Whakatū / Waimeha who help create safer, more connected communities through everyday leadership, kindness, and service.
Created as part of the Community Advocates Project—a partnership between Cultural Conversations and Motueka Family Service Centre—this beautifully designed calendar features stunning portraits by award-winning photographer Tatsiana Chypsanava alongside personal reflections from each advocate about what it means to live a peaceful, connected, and enriching life in our region.
More than a calendar, this is a celebration of community, resilience, belonging, and the people who help make Whakatū a place where everyone can feel seen, valued, and supported.
